The first developmental workshop production of Pivot was presented at the Carlotta Festival of New Plays at Yale School of Drama in May 2019

Romeo & Juliet

Em's all-female, pop-infused Romeo & Juliet took place in a Catholic School and featured songs by No Doubt, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Taylor Swift, Radiohead, West Side Story, and Zefferelli's iconic film score.

This immersive take on Peter Weiss’s classic was set in a Juvenile Detention Center for girls and featured an all female cast. The audience entered through metal detectors and prison checkpoints, before walking into the prison shower room where the play took place.

Inside you might find a teenager’s bedroom in the midst of a game of truth or dare, or the boiler room of a mysterious ship, or a Victorian prison cell. DREAMLAND is an immersive installation experienced one at a time. Each dream belongs entirely to each participant. You can play as you choose.
